Well hello there! My name is Dan, I'm a sophomore Psychology and Music Composition major at Mizzou and I was BORN TO BE A STAR!! I like the arts, all things campy, crazy people, showin up foolz on the dance floor (HATERS BACK OFF!!), holiday crafting, and making my way to broadway.

So I guess this is a blog about all those things? I don't know. It's more or less just a self-indulgent effort to demand more atention (I'm cool too, you guys!!). Expect posts about whatever I want- I promise to entertain ;)

I’ve always loved her voice, but after looking her up on wikipedia I think I just found my new idol. What I’ve learned:
She’s a classically trained pianist and her favorite composer is Bach - she integrates fugal counterpoint into her playing.
She uses silences and dramatic pauses in her songs and refers to it as “mass hypnosis”.
Her nickname is The High Priestess of Soul. I mean, come on, that’s fucking amazing.
She shot at a neighbor boy with an air rifle for being too loud and disrupting her concentration.
She pulled a gun on a record producer for making too much money off her.
She don’t fuck around.
